[Feature] Family Characteristics

[Feature] Family Characteristics
† Test Server v10.23.1

System Rules:

  • This new system will replace the existing Family Protection Buff.
  • To access the next stage of buffs, at least 5 combined points must be allocated first on any buff in the previous stage (i.e. to access stage 2 buffs you need to allocate at least 5 points in stage 1, to access stage 3 buffs you must allocate at least 5 points in stage 2, and so on). Points has to be allocated also on specific lower stage buffs before you access the higher stage buff (i.e. Warrior II requires at least 1 point allocated on Warrior I). Some buffs also can only be accessed when you meet certain family levels.
  • The 2nd rule applies to Attack Class and Defense Class buffs, except Auxiliary Class.
  • The number of Characteristics Points available to use will be according to the Highest Family Level (Family Level plus additional level given if you're a member of a faction). Even if you lose level as a result of leaving faction or deleting/carding a character in the family, you will not lose your characteristics points. Players can gain 1 point only per family level.
  • You can save up to 3 different set of buffs (Page), only 1 Page can be saved initially and can expand up to 3 by paying feso to Master Guardian.
          - 2nd expansion = 200,000 feso
          - 3rd expansion = 400,000 feso
  • You can reset the buff set/page by talking also to Master Guardian, service fee is 10,000 feso
  • You can switch buff set/page while in the field, you will need 10s standby time before you can be allowed to change set. You cannot switch sets while in battle/combat mode.
  • All buffs have a cap of 5 levels.

System Decription:

  • The sum of the buff effects will be shown on the Page Description.
  • There are 3 Buff Classes Available: Attack, Defense, and Auxiliary.
  • There are 5 stages available for every class. You will only be able to select buffs in the higher stages once you have met certain requirements (refer to rule #2).
  • You can switch Buff Set/Page using the Page Selection. Pages can be given a name to easily identify the buffs you selected on that set (i.e. Raid Buff Set, PvP Buff Set, etc.)
  • You can only undo the points you used if the selection has not been saved yet. To change/remove points on a saved buff set/page you must use reset option by talking to Master Guardian.

End result to max

Warrior 30 points 50 atk
Quickness 30 points 30 atk speed
Sharpness 70 points 30 pen
Hunter 50 points 50 monster atk
Slayer 5 points 10% PvP Dmg
Strike 5 points 10% crit damage
Fast cast 5 points 5% faster cast

Fitness 30 points 100% HP bonus
Hardness 45 points 55 Def
Immunity 55 points 30 immunity
Survival 50 points 50% damage reduction form monsters
Battle Sense 5 points 10 evasion
Guardian 5 points 10% damage reduction form pvp
Evasion 5 points 10% enemy skill evasion
Magic Shield 5 points 10% magic damage reduction

Overheating 5 points 5% more damage to enemy if at 100% health
Iron 5 points 10% damage reduction if below 50% health
Blind Side 5 points 10% extra damage id enemy below 50% health
Rage 5 points 10% more damage id your health is below 50%
Sprint 5 points 10% run speed (This better stack with everything)
Fresh Mind 5 points 15% mental resist
Elementary 5 points 15% Fire,ice, lighting resit
Refresh 5 points 5% chance to refresh mind yourself
Extend 5 pints 50% summon health
Aggression 5 points 10% summon damage
Defensive 5 points 5 summon def (5 def or 5 DR cause 5 Def is Farly pathetic)
Drain 5 points 5% life drain

Right now a lvl 50 family has 50 HP (when HP cap) 40% atk and 10 ATK speed that requires 38 Points the only bonus over 50 is def and that's 1 points a level

As far as i can tell so many points are needed that you can't do anything on the side.

Tank build going for monster reduction to the max 50 points for 50% and HP 84% for 24 points and Iron 5 points 10% damage reduction if below 50% That leaves 1 point left over.

Attack build is 30 points in warrior cause 50% atk is to good to pass up. Max monster atk or put some in overheating But more variation but there isn't enough points to do anything in pen. 30 points into atk only leaves 40 left and that 15 pen with no HP bonus or speed bonus or def bonus And that much pen is worthless without the attack to back it.

Right now im thinking 50% atk 30 points Overheating+Blindside For 15% total on raids 10 points 15 points fitness for 50% health totally 55 points Then anything remaining monster atk. Honestly Im not liking this. Technically its an improvement but its a lot of work just to make up for what we got now and most people don't have 60+ family level.

We ether have to get more points a level or the cost on many of them need to be reduced.

Thank you for the translation. This change is going to be a pain for low level families. So many combinations, so little points. =_=" *Nothing to do here (in GE)*

Do we lose our family buff? The +50% hp, 40% atk, 10def etc.

i guess for having lv5 on quickness 1,2 and 3 will only consume 15points. am i right?

it is hard to gain MAX 'warrior' / 'hunter' / 'overheating' / 'blindside' as dps'r. sad :(

Hi Christus :D

do u know what is better :D

Warrior - Attack or
Hunter - Monster Attack? ^^

thx

ChristusX said...

Tsuyoshi, it's better to add points on Attack first because it consumes less points for more damage, and once you have extra points put them in Monster Attack. This is if you are a damager on raids. Another tip, put 5 points on Blind Side too it really helps in raiding.
